Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Well don't come here for hugs and smiles. They sounded really rude on the phone and when i showed up in person i realized it was just his personality. That being said, the food was good... they did take a bit longer than they said but it was around 20 minutes, make what you want of that. Wouldn't stop me from ordering again.

I came here with a co-worker the other day and that will be the last time. I ordered the General Tso's chicken. It could've been really good; it was not the typical Chinese fast food insomuch as it had more hand made breading and sauce. The issue lies in the fact that my chicken was as tough as shoe leather. It was seriously like chicken jerky. I had to spit out the food. My friend and I both experienced this. Lunch was a bust. Go somewhere else for your Chinese. It was a real disappointment.

***Yummy Thai next door delivers, and has way better food: (727) 577-1999*** Wow, I really should have read the reviews on yelp before trying the chow mein here. Same thing that happened to Karen G. happened to me! This may be the worst Chinese food I've ever seen. My chow mein (which is supposed to be stir fried noodles) is some cup of bile-colored broth, the result of boiled lettuce, celery, and a few thin slices of (I think?) green pepper. Not a noodle in sight... seriously??? My wife's general tso's chicken is nothing more than some soggy chunks of fatty meat beneath a sponge of breading. Her fried rice was decent enough, but it had shrimp in it. Shouldn't they inform you if shellfish is an ingredient??? That could be dangerous for some customers!! We also got the appetizer sampler. It's just a bunch of burned greasy stuff. Not a single thing from this meal is edible, so now we're still hungry AND disappointed AND out $20. I'm so mad!

Tonight I had forgotten all about Chopstick Express, so my partner and I received one of China Crossings's ads in the mail, and decided to give them a try. Kinda wish I hadn't. The food wasn't all that great. We ordered steamed dumplings, eggroll, egg drop soup, and chicken chow mein. I have no complaints over the dumplings - they're usually good at any Chinese restaurant. And the eggroll was good too (I assume you can't mess up with the eggroll). The chicken chow mein didn't look like chow mein at all, more like some liquid goop that wasn't quite jello-y but not watery either, and not enough chicken to balance out the veggies. I even tried giving the chicken to my cat, and she didn't even eat it. The rice was also very dry despite how moist and compact it was. And finally, the egg drop was average. Thick and creamy, but it left some filmy stuff on my spoon that wasn't egg. Not.. quite.. sure.. what that was. Fortunately, customer service was fairly good. The woman on the phone was clear and concise, and the deliveryman was also prompt and courteous. Our food was delivered between 30 to 45 minutes which, in my opinion, is pretty satisfactory. As a caution, they require a $15 minimum for delivery. I think the $17 I spent could have been used more wisely, but if you like quick, cheap Chinese food this place is for you. As for me, I'll stick to Chopstick Express.

My neighborhood Chinese take out joint. Fast and on point as far as price goes. Healthy food options available. Extremely consistent, never mess up my orders and friendly. Food tastes exactly like what you expect and I'm never disappointed! Tip: Ask for the steamed chicken and vegetables with the "white" sauce on the side

I ordered general tsaos and sesame chicken. They put the same sauces on each. The only difference was that they put sesame seeds on the sesame chicken. More importantly, the meat was chewy, and I don't even think it was chicken I was eating. It was probably rat or cat meat. Very gross. I took two bites and threw all that food away. So sad. The shrimp fried rice was good, so I gave the review one star instead of no stars. Would not go back here if that was the last chinese fast food restaurant on earth.

Tried an order today for the first time. Very disappointed. NY Style? Not even close. Food was very plain. Roast pork fried rice had almost no pork and had no taste at all! Spare ribs had little taste and had to down in duck sauce. Usually good ribs I eat as is. Even the sauce that came with our fried dumplings tasted like water. I have not been able to find really good Chinese in St Petersburg yet! In NY the good places made the fried rice brown in color not light yellow and the was much roast pork peas and egg in it. That's fried rice! Will not return to this spot again.....

One of my favorite local Chinese take-aways in the area. Been getting food here for years, and it's fairly consistent. Their ingredients always seem fresh, service is quick and friendly (especially from Mae), flavors are above average, and prices are typical. It's in a strip-mall near Publix & Walgreens and next to Estela's Mexican. I often order, go pick up a few items at Publix, and my food is ready when I return. Last time I had Mai Fun (angel-hair noodles & veggies) with chicken, and it was excellent. They also make it Singapore Style (curried). Almost everything is good here, I especially like the Orange Chicken. Nice pieces of tangy orange peel mixed in. Boiled Dumplings Szechuan Style is a spicy and economical appetizer. Overall, this is a cut above average for this type of food. They're reliable, and I would recommend this place, or get food for the family here.

The Food is actually really good, service is fast and friendly. I some times come here after a long shift at work to grab dinner when I don't cook. I'm glad you never have to wait a long time for your food and its always fresh.

Been coming here off and on for a few years. Food quality as of recent has decreased, canned mushrooms are unacceptable. Veggie dishes have less broccoli and more bamboo.

Always fast, always friendly, always delicious! Support your local family-run businesses!
